One million Facebook users logins hacked- Meta

California’s MENLO PARK (KDKA) – Users are being alerted by Facebook’s owner Meta that up to one million users’ login credentials may have been compromised.

More than 400 malicious Android and Apple apps created to steal individual Facebook logins have been found by Meta researchers.

According to a spokeswoman for Meta, the business is contacting any users who may be in danger.

The programmes pass for games, photo editors, and lifestyle and health-related services.

Users of apps are frequently prompted to check in using Facebook, which gives hackers access to user names and passwords.
